The One Million Rwandan Coders (OMRC) initiative equips citizens with digital skills to innovate, compete, and create jobs.
The OMRC, led by MINICT under the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2, 2024/25 - 2028/29), is building a digitally skilled and inclusive workforce for Rwanda’s future. Over five years, OMRC will train one million citizens in coding and digital skills, upskill 500,000 professionals, and create thousands of digital jobs empowering Rwandans of all backgrounds to thrive in the global digital economy.
